The unit has provided a wealth of information on essential things to consider when job searching. It has created more awareness on issues such as cultural difference, language, gestures, religion and more. The provision of different resources to find information is definitely a plus. The internet usually provides a wealth of information on how to write Resume/CV, a lot of which is incorrect. I find the guidelines to be very beneficial.This unit reviewed various teaching strategies involving different activities (songs, games and drama to name three) that can adapted and used for different teaching points and different age groups and abilities. Numerous web site URLs for different resources were provided and several sample lesson plans were given. The important consideration for me was to understand how to adapt the same game or activity for different ability levels.
