Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

In this unit, I have learned about the various ways of managing a classroom. This includes how to engage students, how to correct them, how often to correct them, how to arrange a classroom and how to effective gain feedback from students in order to help them be successful in class. The most important concept I think of when reviewing this lesson is student satisfaction. Everything in the classroom should benefit and help them.In this unit, I have learned about methodologies of teaching English as a foreign language which include grammar-translation, audio-lingualism, presentation, practice and production, task-based learning, communicative language teaching, community language learning, to mention but a few. Further still, I have learned of an effective technique of teaching the English language using these three elements; engage, study and activate.
