Innovation and Experience

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

I would have never thought that tenses would be broken up into so many sections. I can understand now how it can be very confusing to learn English as a foreign language, and I am still trying to wrap my head around certain sentences and questions. The present simple I picked up quickly, it was straight forward - knowing what is a routine and identifying if its a habit. These categories was easier to pick up.Through this unit i have learned about future tenses and the form and usages of each of them, i have also been given various tasks to use in the teaching of future tenses. I feel that future tenses unit was a little more difficult than the past and present tenses unit as there are more uses and forms and can also change the tense based on a if you have evidence or not, the example of this is with predictions.
