Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

The level of student engagement can vary from student to student, and lesson to lesson so it may be difficult to get a general feel for how engaged a class is as a whole. The basic ideas would be 1. Teach something to your students, ideally something useful and relevant to them, 2. Have them practice it in a structured way that assures success and, 3. Allow them more freedom to apply that language to their own circumstances.I am excited that this is the last unit. It was very short and to the point. I wish more units were this simple but, I understand that grammar can not be avoided. Grammar is also not always easy to simplify. This unit built on the last. It was filled with more practicals for when actually teaching English. I think that it has definitely helped me to be prepared to teach ESOL and I look forward to doing so in the near future.
