Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

As teachers, we should pay a special attention to the kind of audience which we are addressing. Each group has its own specific which should be taken into consideration. This unit helped me to identify different target groups and how to deal with them in order to achieve success. I decided to take two additional courses, Business English and Teaching Young Learners, in order to deepen my knowledge in this areas. The unit speaking and writing tied into the previous unit reading and listening. It stressed the importance of the power of communication. Students must have a purpose in their communicative purpose as well as a desire to want to say something. Also the student has to listen and be interested in what is being said. Also, it is very important to include games in the lesson plan to check for fluency and accuracy.
