Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit explains the foundation of teaching pronunciation & phonology. One of the biggest challenge when I teach English to my students is having them pronounce words correctly. Most of my students are not familiar with blends or how to sound out the word correctly, which leads them to frustration or guessing the words. Fluency is a big aspect in modeling pronunciation and this unit covers that area.I’ve found good tips how to guide students in order to create their writing and spoken abilities or skills. I enjoyed the information about fluency and accuracy based activities, it was really-really useful! I would like also mention that I support the idea of fluency based activities, when teacher let students do their mistakes in order to encourage their spoken abilities and not to intimidate them.
