Bridge Institute School of English, located in the city of Querétaro, Mexico, is currently hiring TEFL qualified teachers for part-time positions starting in March 2017. The school is located in the beautiful, medium-sized city of Querétaro, located in the Bajío region, about two and a half hours from Mexico City. Renowned as a safe location, Querétaro is famous both for its colonial historic centre (a UNESCO world-heritage site), and also as a growing city where many international companies are choosing to do business. The minimum qualifications to be considered for a teaching post at Bridge are an initial TESOL or TEFL certificate and at least one year of teaching experience.

TO APPLY:

Any interested candidate who meets the above requirements is invited to send his or her résumé to David Crawford, the academic director, at the e-mail address given on the job heading. We welcome applications from teachers located within as well as outside Mexico.

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

-avoid eye contact in activities that are not teacher centered -use gestures to maintain attention and interest -Don't use students names at the beginning of questions -whole-class grouping allows students to interact, allows for more teacher control, and can be off-putting for shy students -pairwork dramatically increases stt, allows teachers to work with pairs, and is easy to organizeThis unit has taught me a lot about intransitive, transitive separable, and transitive inseparable. I am more confident in my ability to understand this, although i know i will have to continue studying because i did find it difficult answering some of these questions. I am happy that i now know the passive and active voice and i feel confident in my ability to teach that to my students.
