Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit discuss the potential problems that will occur during our time teaching English. It discuss the characteristics of a new and existing group. How we as teachers, our first lesson, build rapport with our student. Next, warmers for our students by creating hangman, tongue twisters etc. Also what we need to do for our mixed levels. So this unit give me ideas on what to do when I encounter theses issues. This unit has taught me about the difference between placement and diagnostic tests. From this units I have learnt about a variety of tests that English language learners can take based on their unique needs and situation. After finishing reading this unit I have gained an understanding about how and why teachers evaluate the students. Finally, I know now how often it is appropriate to give tests and how often.
