I can understand that teaching should be in a sequence and everything should be done in order without jumping through topics. If the following techniques might not be followed, students might get confused or not get the content of the lesson. It will also lead to conflicts between teacher and students. Following rigid techniques without changing the style of teaching will lead to lost interest and bring boredom to the classroom.In unit 1, I learned the difference, strength, and weakness between adult and younger learners, which will help me a lot in the future teaching career. It shows we many different roles of a teacher, and depend on which situation or type of student so I can pick the right role for myself.
Beside that, the qualities of a good teacher show me clearly what students are expecting from their teacher, so I can improve myself later on.
