Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

I received a brief overview on what to expect and learn from this course. I realized it is one thing to know how to teach English to an adult and it is another skill to be able to teach to a young learner. There appears to be a big market for teaching the younger generation in various countries and that my teaching experience will more than likely be a lively experience as this age range is quite imaginative and sponge-like in nature. This unit was helpful in providing several examples and resources to use for putting together lesson materials. It was also helpful to learn about the critical thinking decisions when deciding which coursebook is appropriate for the classroom and which activities would work best for the students. This unit continues to celebrate the need for individuality when adapting lesson plans to meet the needs of each classroom and each student.
