Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This module explains the different types of past tenses. I found the unit informative and I could start to see similarities in the structure compared to the perfect tenses. I presume at this stage that the other tenses follow a similar format, and if so, this starts to make the overall subject of grammar a bit less daunting for me. I can therefore more confidently see how I can convey this to students. When it comes to learn English we have different types of skills that we are going to be working on during this process, of which, we talk about two skills on this particular lesson, listening and reading. These skills are equally important at the moment of acquiring the language, however each one of them has various and more suitable manners of being taught, as well as distinct purpose for their use.
