Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

In this unit I learned that a good teacher should be more focused on the students and their success. Students come from all backgrounds and experiences, a teacher needs to be able to change their style of teaching to best benefit their class. Being a good teacher also means being able to take control of of a classroom with activities and have the ability to make a lesson fun and exciting.Unit four of teaching English to young learners considers the use of materials in the classroom commonly used in order to aid learning. We consider both the advantages and disadvantages, as well as various types of authentic and non-authentic materials. We also look at lesson planning and what constitutes a successful lesson plan. Classroom management strategies are also highlighted here.
