Soonchunhyang University in Asan, Korea has openings for Full-time English professor

Qualifications & Requirements:

Must have a Master’s degree + 2 years teaching experience at university or public schools, and a highly proficient in English

? Applicants who completed a Master’s degree in one year or less must have at least 3 years of teaching experience at university or public schools.

Degree in Education, English or TESOL, CELTA, TEFL certificate preferred.Period of Employment: : September 1, 2026– – August 31, 2027F-visa or E-1/E-2 visa holder who is currently in Korea is preferred

Please note that final candidate will be required to come in face-to-face interview.

 

All Positions: Main Responsibilities:

1. 15 contact hours per week, will be paid overtime for any hours exceeding 15 contact hours per week.

Salary & Benefits:

2,444,000 KRW per month basic starting salary with MA

* There are many opportunities for overtime if you are willing to do.

2. Overtime rate is 33,000KRW per hour

3. Minimum 10 weeks paid vacation

4. Medical Insurance 50/50

5. Korea Teachers Pension

6. Provided furnished one room apartment or a housing stipend of 350,000KRW per month

7. Travel allowance of 1,000,000 KRW will pay at end of final contract period
