Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit was very hard, and I feel that more explanation and examples are needed. I found myself using google searches for further explanation and clarification. With the use of external help, I found myself understanding the material more. Other units have explained the material quite well, but I feel this unit lacked that. Overall, it was ok, but does need a bit more examples with explanation. This unit is about the qualities and roles of a good teacher as well as qualities of a good learner. I have learnt that a good teacher must be entertaining, patient, motivating, know the subject matter, prepared, sensitive and able to interact. A good teacher need to avoid certain characteristics such as late coming, over correction, culture insensitivity, excessive participation in students' activities
