Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

The teacher has many important jobs in the classroom. It is important recognize when to take on each role in the classroom as well as recognize when to not take on other roles. It is also important to recognize that there are a number of different student levels, each of which come with their own hurdles to overcome. It is important to recognize a given level so that the teacher can put the student in the best position to succeed.Another enlightening unit that showed me AGAIN how little I know about the English language. I am having doubts as to whether I can actually teach this given how little I know about something I believed I knew well and did well. There is so much more to understand about tenses and I can see the challenges in teaching this aspect of the English language. I shall need to do more work before I feel confident in teaching in this area.
