Gunma Kokusai Academy is a leading educational institution based in Japan, offering a high-quality English Immersion education to a predominantly Japanese student body. We are currently seeking an experienced and qualified IB MYP/DP English Language & Literature Teacher to join our team.
Position Overview:
As an IB MYP/DP English Language & Literature Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching middle school students the fundamentals of language arts and literature. You will work closely with other English and Literature department members to develop engaging lesson plans that align with the IB MYP curriculum.
Skills and Qualifications:
- A minimum qualification of a Diploma in Education or related field
- At least 5 years of experience teaching
- TEFL/TESOL certificate preferred
- Strong knowledge of the IB MYP curriculum for Language Arts/Language and Literature
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles
- Experience using technology in the classroom
