Fukui City in Fukui prefecture is surrounded by a lot of nature (mountains on one side and the Sea of Japan on the other). It is a little more low-key than the huge Japanese cities. However, it is located 1.5 hours from Kyoto, 1.8 hours to Osaka and Nagoya and about 30min from Kanazawa. It is well known because of Eiheiji the famous Buddhist monastery, founded by Dogen Zenji.
We look forward to hearing from prospective future colleages…

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

For an English speaker the past tense comes natural in my opinion. But growing up with a lot of foreign friends, I understand that it is not as simple as we think especially when it comes to irregular verbs i.e.: see-saw. It is a mistake that many foreigners have difficulties who don’t have the different tenses in their language, or that in their language the verb is the same in each time period. This unit gives an overview on equipment and other teaching materials used or available in the classroom. It highlights the importance of using materials and equipment correctly and effectively. Once again, I appreciate the list of resources. Particularly, I loved songs with worksheets and TEFL games links. I try to incorporate songs into my lessons, so having readily available ones is quite helpful.
