We are looking for an English Teacher to start immediately.

The Language Centre is a small, friendly school near Bologna. We teach adults of all levels both here at the school and in-company.
Candidates should have an EU passport and a relevant teaching certificate. Preference will be given to applicants with a knowledge of Italian and some experience, although enthusiasm and a flexible approach to working hours would be an advantage!

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

Unit 7 covers the general motivation behind a language lesson; that is, what is the ultimate purpose for teaching the specific lesson, and of what benefit to the learner is it aiming for. This unit offered possible lesson structures for teaching vocabulary, grammar, and function (the main points guiding any language course) with suggestions for appropriate activities in each section of the lesson and the general aim guiding a teacher.In this unit I have learnt the different types of tests and examination someone learning English as a second language will have to take. which tests to give students to utilise the information that comes back from these tests to help the student really progress. I found it interesting to get a good understanding of what type of test to use when to asses students and make sure they are in the right class and learing the right material.
