Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

I have learnt that it is important for teachers to understand the needs of each individual student and combine it in order to present a beneficial lesson for all. It is important for the teacher to have basic knowledge of an individual's job, however like the material states, it is interesting to note that we cannot just teach them what they'll need for their job. We need to teach them the basics first so they can build a foundation. In this lesson I learned about future tenses. These tenses include the future simple, the future continuous, the future perfect, the future perfect continuous, be going + infinitive, the present simple, and the present continuous. The lesson also included teaching methods, forms, usages, and common mistakes for each tense. Some of the teaching methods are songs, games, illustrative situations, and making holiday/birthday party plans.
