Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit covered lesson planning and gave examples of how to implement each stage of the ESA lesson plan model. The present perfect tense is a very fun tense to teach, and I find that students really enjoy talking about what they have and haven't done. This unit was helpful because it provided problems that students might encounter when learning this tense and what you can do to facilitate learning.I have always been a firm believer in testing however did not realise that there were so many different kinds of tests and what data teachers can gather from each test. It is interesting to note that some are done at the start of a course, others at the end so that teachers can use the results to help plan their lesson, see who needs additional help and how challenging the material given needs to be.
