Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

English grammar is not always easy to understand, yet can be taken for granted unknowingly. Knowing the English grammar helps us in communication skills vital for life. It has become apparent through this unit that more is involved in just using English, rather we need to understand, and know the reasons why we use English the way that we do. Having this understanding will enable us to effectively teach to others.Understanding the English parts of speech is a must if you want to teach grammar. The part of speech indicates how the word functions in meaning as well as grammatically within the sentence. There is more to parts of a speech and it consists of articles, nouns, pronouns, adjectives, verbs, adverbs, conjuctions, prepositions, and much more. Teachers must take parts of speech seriously for them to deliver positively in class.
