Ae ACTIVATE english, the NEW private English language school, is looking for young, excited, fresh, and motivated TEFL-GRADUATES to teach English in Surabaya, East Java!
Who we are
Ae ACTIVATE english, the NEW private English language school, is a young dynamic school: we opened our doors in May 2002!
Ae started as a private language school, but at the moment we are active in the following fields;
Ae Media productions, Ae Coaching & Training, and Ae Education & Consultation.
What we do
The idea of the school is new.
However there are other schools around in Surabaya, we focus on those who really need it.
For them, Ae now provides the opportunity to learn English with foreign teachers. Doing so increases their chances substantially as English is in great demand on the job market and is directly related to salary. Thus @ Ae the best is there for those who need it most!
Who you are
Holders of CELTA, Trinity, or TEFL certificates from courses which include teaching practice (NOT online), have work experience related to education (teaching experience outside course NOT required), and be particularly interested in teaching children as well as young adults (age 3 and up, level beginner to advanced).
Be able to start JULY 2007 to teach 20 to a maximum of 24 hours a week, Monday to Friday.
NOTE: we employ the following nationalities only: Australian, British, Canadian, NZ and US.
What Ae offers
Applicants are preferably female and are expected to:
- Be Holders of CELTA, Trinity, or TEFL certificates from courses which must include real teaching practice,
- Have work experience related to education (teaching experience outside course is NOT required),
- Must have interest in teaching mainly children from age 4 up as well as teenagers and young adults,
- Sponsored VISA,
- Competitive salary, (first year salary starts at Rp9.0 million a month after tax.)
- Health insurance
- Reimbursal of inbound flight,
- Outbound flight ticket,
- Fully furnished and equipped Ae Teachers’ House with AC, TV/DVD/FRIDGE and live-in maid or,
- Housing allowance of Rp1.0 million a month for ouside accommodation,
- Free local phonecalls and internet access at school,
- 7-8 weeks paid holiday per year (term-system),
- Additional 11 Government public holidays,
