Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

During this lesson I reviewed grammar rules, teaching ideas and common mistakes for conditionals and reported speech. There are five mail conditionals: - Zero Conditional - First Conditional - Second Conditional - Third Conditional - Mixed Conditional I learned main changes which take place when we turn direct questions into reported (indirect) speech (changes of question words, verb tenses, pronouns, time expressions).I thought that this unit was helpful in providing some insight about when to use authentic materials and when to use prepared materials. It also got me thinking about which authentic materials I could bring from the United States to use in my classroom, such as restaurant menus and museum guides. I have not yet decided if I am going to use a textbook and this unit provided some pros and cons that will help guide my decision.
