Job Teaching English in Indonesia (2)

Date posted:2010-05-09 | Writer: CaSE | Email: [email protected]

Medan is the third biggest city in Indonesia, but by South East Asian standards, has the feel of a rather overgrown village. It lies on the doorstep of the tropical rainforest for which Sumatra is famous, with the renowned orangutan sanctuary in Bukit Lawang just a couple of hours away. There's the opportunity to go jungle-trekking, rafting, river-tubing, elephant trekking and much more, all within a short distance of the city. For a long weekend, you'd be hard pushed to beat the relaxing tranquillity of Lake Toba.

All of which are great reasons to come to Medan and find a job, and the Cambridge School of Excellence is just the place to work. An independently owned school, CaSE doesn't have the corporate, McDonalds atmosphere of some of our rivals. Instead, you'll find a small school owned by people who will support any teacher willing to pitch-in and help make this great school even greater. We have a relaxed, family feel to the place which is the reason why our students keep coming back again and again and again.

We are looking for native-speaking qualified TEFL teachers who are able to educate our students in a professional manner while also injecting a sense of fun into the learning process. Experience in TOEFL or IELTS would be a distinct asset, while a Trinity teaching certificate, such as TESOL, is a requirement. Experience is a must.

The school provides a very good starting package of Rp.9,000,000 plus health insurance, flight and accommodation allowance. Unlike many schools we process the work visa efficiently and as quickly as possible.

If you'd like the opportunity to work with us then drop us an email, at the address given on the job heading, with your CV attached and we'll get back to you as soon as we can.

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

The tense system has twelve tenses, how i have forgotten all about this all these years.
