Job For TEFL Certified Teachers in Indonesia

Inlingua is one of the world's leading language training organizations with over 345 Language Centers in 44 countries across Europe, Africa, Asia, North and South America. Millions of private persons and employees of large and small companies, institutions and government offices have benefited from the inlingua method of language training. We are looking for dynamic, motivated & capable TEFL qualified individuals for a position in Duri / Dumai ( Riau Province). This position requires a teacher to teach 100hrs/month to groups of employees of a company in Riau.

Duri is a quiet and small city with no traffic jams. Most of our teachers who have been to Duri agree that Duri is like an escape to their hectic life in Jakarta. Here, there is no night life -kind of. There is a bar in the company's complex area but the bar is mainly for drinking. You won't find loud music or any disco arenas (you can play pool or darts though!). Duri is 3.5 hr drive from Pekanbaru ( the capital of Riau Province) and 1.5 hr drive from Dumai. From Dumai, you can take a boat to Malaka (Malaysia). It takes 2 hrs only. Or if you want to go to Batam, it takes 8 hr by boat.

Ideal candidates should have:

        Bachelor’s  Degree.
        TESOL or TEFL qualification.
Min. 2 years of teaching experiences.
Min. 600 of TOEFL score for a non-native speaker.
Willing to be placed in Riau.

Please kindly submit your application, with recent photograph, to the email address given on the job heading.

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

Unit 8 pertains to speaking and writing skills, or productive skills. When teaching productive skills students need to be motivated to engage in the work and activities so that comprehension can be achieved. Well structured, interesting lessons at the appropriate level are necessary when teaching productive skills. Additionally, the importance of games in eliciting these skills can not be undervalued. In this unit, I learned about the qualities that will make me a good teacher, especially as a first time teacher. I also learned how I can engage with the students to make it more interesting and fun, in order to enjoy learning English. In addition, I learned how to rank the students' speaking abilities so I will be able to teach at the correct speed and be able to know what I need to focus more on.
