Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit gives feedback on how to teach special groups such as beginners, individuals, children, business, and monolingual and multilingual class. There's a variety of ways on how to teach these different groups, each having their own planning and work materials. I learned that to teach business English, you don't need to be an expert. As long as you know how to give presentations and talk formally then you should be good to go!Unit 11 provides us with deeper insights on phonology. It is important to understand and use intonation correctly to deliver the right messages as well as to receive answers when intended. By learning about which meaning a sentence has and knowing what stressed words are we can now able to provide the students with the right pronunciation. The phonemic alphabet is a hard, yet effective tool for delivering the right pronunciation.
