Are you a native English speaker with a playful personality and a knack for inspiring kids to learn? Then we want you to join our team at our native English learning centre in Hong Kong! We’re looking for reliable and dedicated teachers to join us from overseas, who have some travel experience and are ready to adapt to new surroundings. As an English Storytelling Instructor, you will be the heart of our team, empowering, educating, and inspiring children aged 1.5 to 12 years old to learn English through engaging stories and fun activities. Your job duties will include teaching small groups of children (3 to 7 students) using our lesson plans, assisting in creating activities, and problem-solving any cultural issues that may arise due to the new language learning. You will also be responsible for facilitating event management and assistance to ensure our students have a fun and beneficial learning experience. Don’t worry if you don’t have teaching experience yet! We offer an easy-to-learn training program and have all the lesson plans and class materials organised for you. We value creativity, so we foster an interactive environment where you can put your own spin on our Courses. To be considered for this position, you must have a minimum of a high school diploma, although a university degree is preferred. What’s more important is your love for children, your exceptional English skills, and your willingness to learn. If you have experience teaching kids, then even better! This is a full-time position in Hong Kong with a contract duration of one year. Weekend work is required, as is a decent working knowledge of computers (particularly MS Word, Excel, and Google Suite). You must also possess a valid passport and be willing to relocate to Hong Kong. We offer a competitive salary of $18,000 - $23,000 HKD per month (depending on experience and qualifications), as well as bonuses, year-end completion bonuses equivalent to one month's wages, and 10 days of annual leave plus statutory holidays. The class size is small, ensuring you get enough time to focus on each student's learning needs.
