Date posted:2016-02-22 | Writer: Lietz-Internat Schloss Bieberstein | Email: [email protected]

The Lietz-Internat Schloss Bieberstein is a high school located 15 kilometers east of Fulda. Once the summer residence of the Prince Abbots of Fulda, it is now home to 125 girls and boys of the school. We have an opportunity for a Language Assistant, that would be suitable for a newly qualified TEFL graduate. The Language Assistant is expected to participate in the school life of Bieberstein, joining one of the “families”, supporting the teachers and teaching about 15 lessons a week, helping the students mastering the English language and preparing them for exams. In return, the Assistant will receive 950 € monthly allowance minus costs for health insurance, food/lodging and social security (leaving 450 € after deduction of these costs).

The Language Assistant will be accommodated in a single room in one of the former teacher flats, possibly sharing the flat with other university students taking part in a practical training year in Bieberstein. Besides teaching in Bieberstein, the Language Assistant is encouraged to attend any classes in Bieberstein he or she might be interested in (e.g. German as a Foreign Language), to take part in extracurricular activities and field trips as a supervisor at no extra costs. School terms usually start at the end of August, and end in July with holidays in October (2 weeks), at Christmas (2-3 weeks), in February (1 week), at Easter (2 weeks) and Pentecost (1 week).

Conditionals and reported Speech can be tricky to learn and explain, their are many rules to understand and many Tense to comprehend. The reported speech is I feel, I would have enjoy more exercise and methods to be able to teach it in a interactive way. I also realize everyday mistakes I am making while using the reported speech, in the tense on the daily basis speaking with my co workerThis lesson taught me how to structure my classes. It made me understand different teaching methodology and pointed out their weaknesses and strengths. In addition, this lesson helped me understand how to correct or rather when and when not to correct my students. Finally, it was a good way for me to review how I organize and structure my classes. I can't wait to apply what I learned here.
