Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit is about difficulties that a teacher might face to while teaching. There are so many things to be considered when having a first class, warmers an other types of activities. Different levels require different approach and problems prevention. A teacher should be aware of troubles that might happen with large, individual or multicultural classes in order to prevent the worst case scenario. classesIn this lesson we were learning about receptive skills. Important parts of teaching receptive skills and how to achieve correct response. Reading and listening start with reading for purpose and for entertainment. Parts of how we read are predictive skills, scanning, skimming, detailed information and deduction from context. Parts of learning language are pre teaching vocabulary, careful selection of texts.
