Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

Unit 13 focused on teaching pronunciation and phonology. It emphasised the importance of dedicating time to teaching pronunciation for non-native learners, including language elements such as intonation, stress and phonetic sounds. While I was aware of the International Phonemic Alphabet and had learnt a little of it before, this unit was a good reminder of its relevance in teaching English. In this unit i learned about properly teaching vocabulary and grammar using the correct techniques and structures. The examples of lessons in the ESA forms provided me with a better understanding of how to teach my classes the proper ways of learning English. The combination of every unit i have leaned up to this point have taught me how to provide my students with the best ways of learning.
