We are hiring English teachers to teach our English academic enrichment programme. Our teachers plan and deliver one to one lessons in student’s homes in Paris and the Île-de-France region. Students are usually aged between 6 – 18 years old. Teachers are expected to teach classes until the end of the current school year (end of June).
Teachers working with The Turner Learning Center are either employed on a part-time CDI contract (pending a successful 2-month trial period) or work with us as auto-entrepreneurs.
This is a part time role. Teachers can teach from 5 hours a week to 25 hours a week depending on availabilities. Classes are taught from Mondays to Saturdays inclusive.
Net hourly salaries for teachers employed on a contract start from €16 per hour. For auto-entrepreneurs the hourly rate starts at €24 per hour.
Our key requirements:
Desire to empower others through teaching
Excellent interpersonal skills
Highly organised, energetic and enthusiastic
TEFL, CELTA or DELTA trained OR 1 year+ teaching experience
The following would support an application:
Experience of ESOL exams
A Bachelor of Education (with QTS), PGCE or a M.A.Ed
Administration skills
Technologically competent
