Listening and reading skills are very important for students to develop in order to understand the concepts that are being taught. It is the teacher's job to make this easier for students by effectively communicating concepts and lessons to them using the ESA technique. Students can attempt to read and listen with all their might, but it will be in vain if the teacher is not effectively communicating or motivating the students.The tense system of English language can be a little tricky as we learnt from previous units, so it’s important to be able to see certain similarities in forming and using past tenses. Unit 6 gives us important information about all past tenses, teaches how to use it, points out the most common mistakes that students could make while studying these grammar rules and present a few ideas for the Activate stage of the lesson.
