AMES - the leading language school in the capital of Lithuania seeks an enthusiastic teacher to join our team with placement from January 2024. We are an authorised exam centre for IELTS, PTE Academic and PSI.
Teach EFL courses (General, Business English, IELTS) ONLINE in Vilnius time zone and/or in-person, 18-25 contact hours (45-minute units) a week. Design lessons that are appropriate to the level, interests and needs of the students in each class, maintain a suitable balance of instructor input, and student involvement. Deliver each class with energy and enthusiasm, aiming high, providing a learning process that is both challenging and engaging. Participate in teacher's workshops.
Qualifications
Native level English speaker preferred
Applicants should have proven experience of teaching English to different age groups.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, reliable, and flexible, always keeping the students best interests in mind. CELTA, TEFL or equivalent qualifications, plus relevant experience. Good teaching and interactive skills with students.
Happy to teach online on Microsoft Teams and/or in-person, both groups and 1:1 (most classes are with small groups of 7 to 10 students). Committed to working with us for at least one year (until January 2025) or longer.
Applicant must have permission to work in the EU or hold a valid work permit for employment in the EU.
Salary and Benefits
We offer a package which ranges from 1000 Eur to 1200 Eur NET per month depending on candidates qualifications. We offer bonuses for any overtime hours, if they occur.
