Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit discusses the diversity of English language students. Primarily the unit address two broad groups, children and business learner, along with a variety of English language levels. In addition to this, the unit provides guidelines about a teacher's conduct and attitude and how this effects the class. This unit helps to reinforce the teacher's place, and responsibility in the learning environment. In this unit I learned about the four aspects of the past tense: past simple, past continuous, past perfect, and past perfect continuous. I learned about their usage, form, typical student errors/mistakes, and sample sentences, and sample activate teaching ideas. In addition, I also learned that one of the uses of the past continuous and past perfect tenses could easily be misunderstood due to similarities.
