We need one teacher to start work before March 30th. The initial contract would run until June 30th with the prospect of an extension for the next school year. We would prefer previous experience and/or CELTA or equivalent. The new teacher would start with 8 x 90 minute lessons a week. The salary is 200CZK per 45 minutes.
The school is located in the university city of Liberec, which is one hour north of Prague by bus and close to the German and Polish borders. We teach a mixture of in-company and school based classes to adult students.

This units a combination of both physics and astrophysics. It totally took me away from learning. I spent a lot time trying to decipher phonemic symbols. I will be teaching in underserved areas of Chicago and this unit would be an extreme challenge to try to teach. I would suggest another way. I understand the importance of teaching pronunciation and phonology but it comes across as a bit dated in the age of iPads and iPhones.This was very useful to me. I had trouble figuring out which medium of presentation would work best for students. This needs to be updated a little bit, however, because most classrooms don't use tape recorders or video cassettes anymore. The inclusion of interactive whiteboards, or IWB, as they were explained, was helpful, too, because I always used interactive whiteboards in high school and was able to learn a lot from it.
