Hampson CS Ltd. (Contact us) , a private language school, is currently looking for English as Second Language teachers (native speaker) from August 2006 for full-time contract. Our teaching includes business clients, general English, children, teenagers. Classes have between 5-8 students. We are located in Mlada Boleslav about 50km northeast of Prague. We are a school with a different approach; we create a very relaxing environment with music, fun and new-age philosophy. Our students range in age from 4 years to 65 years and come from all walks of life. As a native speaker you'd be assisting classes in turn with Czech teachers and independently teaching conversation and one-on-one courses in our two locations in Mlada Boleslav. You would also be teaching one week intensive courses (once, twice a month) at our Learning Farm. These courses require students and teachers to live and learn together for seven days of English, English, English! You will have a flat located 2 minutes, on foot, from the school which we will pay the rent. You have free internet access at school. Hampson will also supply you with a mobile phone.

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

I found the reasons behind why we use authentic and non-authentic very interesting. Also, the idea where you do not actually have to use the entire course book was an eye opener as in my school the coordinator wants us to complete every single page even if it not taught correctly, due to time restraints. It has to be completed, which I always thought was wrong. The web pages that were supplied in the unit were excellent. This unit looks at the different groups of students that EFL teachers are tasked with the duties of teaching. There are beginners, individual students, children, English for specific purpose and the monolingual and multilingual class, all of which requires different methodology and techniques when teaching. A teacher should always use techniques that will benefit the students when teaching different groups of students.
