This content of this unit allowed insight into classroom dynamics by employing various techniques which can be used to create mutual respect between the teacher and students. It also gave useful information on dealing with behavioral problems in the classroom and what can be done and what should be avoided. On a personal level I also learned how to use my body language as a teaching tool in the classroom.In unit 17, I have learnt about many other teaching aid that can be used to make lessons more interesting, effective and less dependent on text books. Such include, white/black board, interactive whiteboard, overhead projector, visual aids,, worksheets and work cards, cassette recorder, videos and DVDs, video cameras, dictionaries,course books, resource books, photpcopier, computers and online resources.
