Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This lesson talked about the different roles a teacher has in class, and the different kinds of students a teacher will come across in their class, both age-wise and ability-wise. An effective teacher needs to be able to switch between roles fluidly, and be accommodating to all types of learners. Also, being aware of the reason for studying can help the teacher direct their energies more effectively. From this unit I understood how it is necessary to write teaching plans before lessons. I have learn about important functions of teaching plan, principles, what should be include to this plan. I have known that it is very important to do monitoring of your lessons and I have learned how to fill in self evaluation form. I got some example of teaching plan and a lot of good recommendation how to use it.
