Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

Unit 17 is about equipment and teaching aids. Because of today's technology there are so many equipment and teaching aids available for us now but you still have to prepare and plan your classes and have back up plans in case of any technical problems. They talk about equipment such as the board, interactive white boards, OHP, visual aids, etc. They also have a list of resource books we can use and URLs for online resources.Equipment and teaching aids are one of the most important elements of teaching. Teachers choose what they like the most and feel more confident when using it, but also we need to consider if its suitable for our class and helpful for our students. Me as a kindergarten teacher, I use a lot of visual aids that help me to attract kid's attention. I also use Cd player, white board, worksheets, coursebook, photocopies and videos.
