Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

I feel that while a lesson plan is important, once the structure is complete with the relative content, it is rarely referred to once the class begins because the teacher should have the basic concepts of the planned lesson memorised. In this unit I learnt the importance of being able to connect the different stages of the lesson and to have flow to the lesson to enable a smooth transition. This unit was very helpful and makes me feel more confident in my abilities to teach. I feel like this information in beneficial and I am getting the knowledge needed to be a teacher. In this unit I learned about the different tests and how they should be used in a classroom. I think that tests or quizzes are helpful to the students to test their knowledge and to make sure they are learning.
