We are TeachDiscoverChina, an integral job and recruitment platform of the Sichuan Education Association for International Exchange (SEAIE). We help place and manage international teachers in schools and institutions in Sichuan Province and sometimes in other parts of China. Sichuan Education Association for International Exchange (SEAIE) is a government-supported educational organization under the Education Department of Sichuan Province, our primary mission is to promote international education communications and cooperation in the region. We have created a strong network of public schools from kindergarten, primary and secondary schools, colleges to universities.
Have you ever thought about teaching English in China and weren’t sure if it was for you? Well, our short 5-month TEFL internship program in Sichuan Province is for those who want to give a try first before making a longer commitment. Great for graduates and first-time TEFL teachers to gain some valuable classroom teaching experience in a supportive and friendly environment whilst travelling and immersing yourself in Chinese culture. This could be an exciting sojourn or the start of a rewarding TEFL career. Get a taste of Sichuan!
Our school placements are located throughout the vast and stunningly beautiful Sichuan Province in the Southwestern part of China. Known as the ‘Land of Abundance’ because of its plentiful charm and offerings, Sichuan is renowned for its delicious spicy cuisine, towering mountains, sacred temples, ancient Chinese culture, Sichuan opera and of course as the hometown of the cute Giant Pandas.
START DATES: February 2024 or September 2024
AVAILABLE PLACEMENT LOCATIONS: Nanchong, Deyang, Dazhou, Suining

REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's Degree in any field
• Native English speaker
• TEFL certificate or 2+ years teaching experience
• Clean criminal background check
