Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

Unit 4 is focused on the present tense, and the sub tenses within. It talks about the four tenses, present simple, present continuous, present perfect and present perfect continuous. The chapter gives the grammatical form, typical usages as well as samples. It also gives the typical errors and mistakes people have. In the end of the unit it also gives example activities for the activate stage of the ESA class structure.Evaluation and testing are important in identifying the level of the learner, determining the strengths and weaknesses of the learners and choosing the appropriate methodologies and material. Evaluation also serves as the teacher’s guide to the learner’s progress. The results from tests provide both the learners and teacher the guide on areas that need improvement and know the best approach in addressing them.
