My big take-aways from this lesson were the unique game ideas like picture stories and role cards. I think learning to balance the coursebook will be a big challenge as a new teacher. Eager to please my students, I'm worried I may try to create too many new materials in order to tailor it to their needs. I will do my best to spend time reading the teacher's guide of whatever coursebook my placement school provides.I really appreciated this unit as it complemented the other units on teaching resources very well. This unit included more contemporary equipment like smart boards, computers and computer aided learning. The resources given via internet webpages is always of great benefit for anyone wanting to access resources to keep their lessons up to date.
The use of the internet will be more and more essential as time passes.
