Being a good teacher is requires a kind, patient personality, and a love for teaching. It is also about building relationships with the students, which is most important. The teacher must also wear different hats in order to be a good teacher. The learner is also responsible for there education as well by applying themselves, but the teacher can also motivate the student into learning. This unit covered essential elements to lesson planning especially as it relates to the engage, study, activate approach to teaching language as a second language. It gave helpful examples of lesson plan worksheets and went into a presentation of lesson planning using the present perfect sense. It was helpful because it used a questions that students would readily be able to relate to.
