Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This lesson consisted of two videos. The first showed a class being taught using ineffective or dysfunctional methods. The second showed the same lesson being taught using effective methods. The attitude of the teacher, the vocabulary used by the teacher, and the instructional methods were all much more positive in the second video. The second video also showed effective use of the Engage phase.This unit gave me a more through understanding of another tense in English-- this time, the past tense. The past tense has many different types, and depending on whether the action has or has not been completed, different types of past tense can be used. There are also ways to use the past tense that show exactly when the action had been completed, but others that leave the completion ambiguous.
