Teach English in Chile (3)

this unit has helped me to know two basic skills which falls under receptive skills.this skills are listening and reading and are equally important in teaching english.i have learnt how to effective teach these skills by choosing the right languange,topics ,thereby raising the interest of the learners.i also learnt how to promote understanding by providing task that are realistic and chievable.Really wish this lesson had more to it. I'm teaching in a situation that has many young learners, so I really could have used more elaboration on that point. Instead, this chapter breezed through the absolute basics of it without going into any sort of detail on the matter. Other parts of the lesson were okay, particularly as it seemed way moere focused on teaching English in a busness setting.
