Opportunities Teaching TEFL in Chile

After reading unit 14, I learned that it is an important to have martials to teach students ESL. In the lesson we can create materials that could benefit the students, like a word search puzzles or a gap fill activates, and even a picture stories. Also this unit has taught me how to analyze a course book by looking at the price, the difficulty, and if it has ancillary materials to go alone with the course book.Listening and reading are important skills for students to learn as these skills allow one to consume media for entertainment or use information to help perform more informed decisions. This unit went over how to help students overcome problems in listening and reading and how to keep the students' morale high. An example patchwork lesson was provided featuring Elvis Presley. Example worksheets were also given.
