Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

In this unit we looked at modal auxiliary verbs and the passive voice and how it is used. Being a native speaker and reading about 'the passive voice' really opened my eyes into how difficult it could be for the students to understand this, but once you understand the concept and it is taught in the right way it becomes a lot easier, i will be using all the rules applied in this unit to pass over to the studentsIn this lesson we reviewed the future tenses. We reviewed their forms, usage, typical student errors made while learning them, and teaching ideas. These tenses included the future simple, the future continuous, the future perfect, the future perfect continuous, the be going + infinitive, the present simple, and the present continuous. The be going and the present continuous are stated to be used most frequently.
