Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit described developing a course for young learners. This included initial testing of the students' abilities and needs, determining a syllabus, assessing the students, and preparing the students for examinations. I learned what to determine about the students before finalizing the course material and syllabus. I also learned the need to prepare students for standardized examinations. This section covered some receptive skills. These skills were reading and listening. It went over the different reasons people use these skills. The section also goes over how we read and listen and the skills associated with using them. It also states that the importance of making sure you go over pre-teaching vocabulary. The last part goes over a lesson plan for reading and listening skills.
