Volunteering, one of the pillars of philanthrophy is a powerful factor in social service. We invite volunteers with TEFL certificate from UK/USA/AUSTRALIA/CANADA/EUROPE for teaching ENGLISH in kindergarten, primary and high schools, colleges or in spoken English skills centres. Lesson plans based on the syllabus will be provided for candidates opt to work in schools and colleges.
The purpose of this position is to improve the English skills of the student communities in our area.
The age group of the students is between 2 years to 21 years The working hours will be from 9 AM to 4 PM Monday through Friday and on Saturdays and Sundays, the volunteers can go out on weekend trips to many tourist spots like hill stations and beaches.
So many volunteers from abroad have successfully participated in this sector and gained practical knowledge of Indian education system. Homely food with packaged drinking water and neat accommodation will be provided to the volunteers and phone, internet facilities are available on payment basis. Monthly payment of 150 USD will be charged from the volunteers towards three times home cooked food, packaged drinking water and neat accommodation.
The volunteers can fly to CHENNAI from their countries and from Chennai, domestic flights are operated to MADURAI. In the Madurai airport, the volunteers will be received by us.
Our past volunteers really enjoyed the volunteering and mingling with the family members, attending local functions and ceremonies can not be forgotten ever by the volunteers.
